Community cheer at Christmas

The Bielefeld Community Support team ran their annual Bielefeld Christmas Fair in Bob’s Den on Catterick Barracks on November 27.

The venue was festive and welcoming to the many customers that attended with many Christmas crafts and items available.

In addition there were stalls from all different areas of the community including SSAFA, RBL, Swim Club, Brownies and WRVS to name but a few.

To the sounds of good old-fashioned Christmas music, the community raised in excess of €2,000 overall for the clubs and charities that took part. There were food stalls with different delights to taste, and the hot waffle stall sold out completely.

The event was a magical opportunity for the whole community to come together and enjoy a Christmas event that was supporting the clubs and groups that we use.

Santa and his Christmas fairy were in attendance and were very popular even though many of the children had only seen him the day before at the children’s party.
