It’s snow joke… Christmas is coming!

Bielefeld Station’s children’s Christmas parties run by Welfare Team prove a huge success

The Bielefeld Station Welfare Team welcomed 100 excited children to the annual Christmas parties on November 26.

On arrival the children were greeted by a delicious spread of hot food provided by the NAAFI at Catterick Barracks.

Paul and Dominic from Britannia Entertainment kept the children amused and entertained with party games and music.

Running concurrently were the welfare team craft tables where the children could create Christmas goodies to take home.

Santa did not disappoint and arrived with his elf (Poppy Slinger) and sat in his sleigh with Rudolph and his shiny nose.

All the excited children waited patiently for their names to be called to see Santa and receive their gift.

Mike Wilkinson (photographer) was on hand to capture those special Christmas moments for the families.

Anne Lewis (SWO) said after the events ‘it’s been a busy day but everyone has had a good time and gone home happy!’
