Paderborn United

The U13s team faced top of the league SV Upsprunge III away on Saturday May 20.
It was a nail-biting first half in which goalkeeper Kieran Hicks pulled off some amazing saves, with United also having several opportunities to score, but the result was stalemate at half time at 0-0.
The league leaders had not lost any games at all this season, but United stayed determined, shutting out the opponents. The first goal came when United were awarded a penalty which was expertly tucked away in the top left corner by Reece Edille. The second goal was scored by Dylan Shephard as he broke away from Upsprunge’s defenders to calmly slot the ball past the keeper.
It was a thrilling and outstanding performance by the Paderborn United team resulting in a 2-0 win. The team are positioned comfortably in fourth place in the league table with two games left this season, before they head down to France for an international football tournament near Calais.
